Everything you need to play confidently: choose seven winners, set your tiebreaker, and submit the complete card before the week's first kickoff.
Weekly Play
Simple on purpose: pick winners, finish the full card before the first kickoff, and aim for a perfect seven.
Each player selects exactly seven NFL teams to win outright. There is no point spread, and a player may only select one team per game.
Tied games are not wins: A game that ends in a tie does not count as a winning selection for either team.
Enter the predicted total score of the final designated game of the week. Closest total wins; exact ties are recorded as co-winners.
The deadline for every pick and the tiebreaker is kickoff of the first game of the week, typically the Thursday night game. All seven picks lock together at that moment.
Players cannot wait until each selected game begins. The entire entry must be saved before the first game of the NFL week kicks off. Until that deadline, View All Picks shows your own submitted card but keeps every other player's teams and tiebreaker locked. At first kickoff, all submitted cards are revealed and become read only. A player must still get all seven games correct to win the week.
Rollover Play
If no one gets all seven games correct, no weekly winner is declared and the unresolved result carries forward until a player completes a perfect seven.
Anyone new who wants to play in a carryover week, or any player who wants an additional play, must notify the commissioner by email. The commissioner will confirm eligibility and add each approved carryover play to the pool.
Week 18
There is no Monday night game, so the tiebreaker will be the Sunday night game — the last game of the season.
If no one gets all seven correct in Week 18, then the logic falls to six correct, five correct, and so on.
Special Situations
The pool stays fair even when the NFL schedule gets messy.
If a game is postponed until later in the season after that week's slate has been played, the weekly winner will not be determined until that postponed game is completed, regardless of when it occurs in the season. The result remains pending until a final determination is clear. The exception is when the delayed game cannot affect the declared weekly winner. This means no player whose result still depends on that game can finish with all seven picks correct. In that case, the week's result may be declared final and the postponed game is no longer relevant to the outcome.
If a game is cancelled and no official result will be played, that game will be determined to be a no-contest game for pool purposes. Any player who selected that no-contest game is ineligible to win the week.
